Undertaken between they Years 1813 and 1823 and Commencing from Land’s End, Cornwall. With a Series of Views Drawn and Engraved by William Daniell. London: The Tate Gallery, 1978. Two Volumes. Originally completed and published in 1825 in four folio volumes. All 308 original aquatints are reproduced in reduced size and in monochrome. “As a depiction of the British Coastline in the first half of the Nineteenth Century, this work remains without peer. Bronte’s WUTHERING HEIGHTS is in good condition with tight binding. The gilt on the spine is present and moderately bright, except for spine bottom, where chipping just touches publisher's name. There is a gracefully written previous owner's signature with date of Sept. 18, 1852. Spine ends chipped; edges and corners worn and chipped; moderate foxing to pages, otherwise unmarked. This enduring title is priced at $7,500.
Anne Rice’s Vampire Trilogy is in stock in full gilt-decorated black leather. The trilogy includes MEMNOCH THE DEVIL, QUEEN OF THE DAMNED and TALE OF THE BODY THIEF. All three titles are selling individually at $300. They are in very good condition with slight blemishes on the gilt edge pages.
