Yesterday’s Books is owned and operated by Paula Gauthier, a previous employee, along with an excellent staff of book-lovers. Originally opened in 1980 by Larry and Kathleen Dorman, whose mission: To serve customers in the best way possible, is still being honored today, Yesterday’s boasts an inventory of over 100,000 used, new, rare, and out-of-print hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books, music CDs, DVDs, and sheet music.
Since ownership changed hands in 2008, we have worked hard to maintain the same high level of quality in service and selection, while adapting to many changes in the book world through modern touches added to the business.
Our store is well organized with hundreds of categories. We have strong sections of history, literature, theology, crafts, music, children’s books, local history and popular fiction. Everything is sold in good condition and fairly priced for today’s market. The majority of our used inventory is priced at 50% or more off of the publisher’s price.
