Yesterday’s Books was opened in 1980 by Larry and Kathleen Dorman who never strayed from our store’s mission: Serve customers in the best way possible. This is accomplished everyday with an excellent staff and an inventory of over 100,000 used, new, rare and out-of-print hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books, music CDs, movies and sheet music.

In 2008, Larry and Kathleen retired to spend more time enjoying their family and sold the store to a former employee and her husband, Paula and Phillip Gauthier. We have worked since to maintain the same high level of quality in service and selection, and honor the traditions created by the Dormans, while adapting to many changes in the book world and bringing some modern touches to the business.

Our store is well organized with hundreds of categories. We have strong sections of history, literature, theology, crafts, music, children’s books, local history and popular fiction. Everything is sold in good condition and fairly priced for today’s market. The majority of our used inventory is priced at 50% or more off of the publisher’s price.
